While Deleuze considers his later collaborations with Guattari to surpass his earlier solo projects, the reception of Deleuze’s thought in the philosophical world has been almost exclusively in terms of his early work. This project will aim to bring a renewed focus on the philosophical significance of Deleuze and Guattari’s later writings by providing a forum for discussion and analysis of their work, A Thousand Plateaus.
The workshop brings together some of the leading scholars on Deleuze to reconsider the philosophical value of this work. Each scholar will provide an introduction to aspects of a plateau, before opening it up to wider discussion.
